The om648 has one major issue when pursuing high power. The top end bushing of connecting rod usually breaks down, this parts main function is to remove friction between rod and pin thus keeping the bushing intact. We have tested this during 2023 & 2024 in our racecar engine with massive improvements in durability, now you can have them too.
