“First Shopping Trip” Doll – Ceramic Wall Art by Blue Heron!

Description This is a Beautiful “First Shopping Trip” Ceramic Doll Wall Art by Blue Heron!  This artwork comes to you from the artist’s studio in New Mexico so it is made in the good old USA!  This doll is part of the artist’s line of “Yesteryear Girls”.  The artist decorates the doll using multi-mediums so these dolls are very unique!  This doll sports a lovely orange hat with a green bow.  She wears a mint green dress and orange shoes.  The doll carries her baby wrapped in a blanket and a shopping basket.  Little baby is going on her first shopping trip! To make this doll the artist rolls ceramic clay into a slab using lots of muscle.  She then creates the form of a doll using the slab clay.  She glazes the piece and then fires the piece using a kiln.  When it has cooled she adds decorations to the doll to make it seem more authentic.  So, when she finishes the doll, she has a very beautiful piece of artwork! This Beautiful “First Shopping Trip” Ceramic Doll measures approximately 4-1/2″ X 2″ X 12″.  So, it’s the perfect size to use as a wall hanging.  The doll comes with a saw tooth hanger on the back.  So, it’s ready to hang when it arrives!  This ceramic doll will add a splash of color and charm anywhere you hang it.  Because this doll is handmade, it is one of a kind.  And, because it is so unique it will make a great gift for friends and family!
